Project: Music In My Ear

For a couple of months I’ve been toying with this one site project. The site is MusicInMyEar.com. It’s an online community where users are able to submit music related links and share with others. The ultimate goal is for people to be able to discover new music and hear the buzz and such. You can submit youtube links, articles on music news, etc. It’s really up to you. Overall, here is how the site works:

Users are able to submit a URL to the site. You can do so in two ways.

1. Got to http://musicinmyear.com/submit and just follow the steps.

Or

2. Use the MusicInMyEar Bookmark. It’s easier to submit a site this way. Again, just follow the instructions when the site comes up.

After you have submitted a URL the submission sits in the UPCOMING NEWS section [http://musicinmyear.com/upcoming] until it gets voted enough to times to hit the main or PUBLISHED NEWS [http://musicinmyear.com/upcoming] section. That’s the main goal. Get your submission to the frontpage so that it becomes shared to others.

Also, if you do not like what someone submitted there is a BURY option. Meaning, you give it a negative vote.

Anyway, come join in on the project. It may take a couple of submissions to figure out what you’re doing but once you do you’ll find it all much simpler than you think. Overall, have fun with the site!
